So we went on our first camping trip with Brielle. I was really worried about the sleeping part. We had an awesome tent which had a partition. I thought we would just dress her warm and put her in her pack and play like usual when we go anywhere. I was hoping it would work, but it didn't. She went right to sleep because it was so late. We got to bed around 11:30 and then around midnight Brielle woke up screaming. We let her cry for a while but then knew it would be waking up everyone else so we got her and brought her into our bed with us. We gave her milk and hoped she would just go back to sleep. Well with her being in our bed she thought it was playtime! She played for a good hour to hour and a half before she finally would take her bottle again and try to go to sleep. I kept her in our bed because it was cold and it started thundering and lightening. Every time she moved I would wake up. I probably got 2-3 hours of sleep that night. It was crazy. How do you go camping with a little one and get any sleep??

This was our view. It was so beautiful! We overall had a great time. Brielle loved being outside and she took a good nap so I took a nap as well. Overall it was a lot of fun but I'm just trying to figure out how to get her to sleep better at night. Maybe once she can sleep in a sleeping bag it will be better.

To answer your question...You don't! I know it's a hard answer but the fact is if you go camping with kids you don't get sleep. So you have your choice Camping or Sleep.
I don't think that is true...maybe though. Lots of people go camping all the time with little ones, and I think if they never got sleep, they would not go...we will see if anyone else has great ideas!! I will let you know Teah!
Wow! Looks like fun...i mean, except the no sleeping part.
After having been camping for 9 years with kids trust me until they are about 3 or 4 you just don't get very much sleep! Where did you go camping, it looks beautiful!
She is getting so BIG! We havn't seen you guys forever! Sad.
As far as camping, looks like a great place! Beautiful... but the sleep, don't know. We tried taking Savvy last year and she was barely 2...nightmare. Personally we'll wait another year or so to try again.
As for our stuff, we have most of it. Bikes, golf clubs, etc. Our first garage sale is next Sat the 20th. If you guys want to come and look through things before, I'll be off Mon-Wed getting ready for it. And can then explain the "why's". :) (we still have your house too, just havn't had time to drop it by)
