No baby yet....

It says I have 0 days left which is true. My due date has come and gone and unfortunately she thinks she needs more time inside me. I know I post about my sisters a lot but I am so thankful for them. Today my younger sister came down with her little one. Brielle and I needed it so much. She needed someone to play with and I needed someone to talk to who also went past her due date. It was so fun. Thank you Shell and Ariah!

I promise I will let you all know when this baby comes, but as of right now, she has no desire to come. Hopefully she will soon....

Less than 2 weeks to go.....getting very excited!

From crib to bed

So I love blogs so I can get advice. For all those moms who have already done this...what is the best method you have found for transitioning a toddler from her crib to a bed? How long does this usually take? I have been hoping that I could avoid it until after this baby was born, but I just watched Brielle climb out of her crib in about 5 seconds and I don't think I can wait much longer. Can I get your advice on what works and what doesn't work? I would really appreciate it!

Jumping jelly beans

Brielle LOVES to jump. She pretty much hops most places she wants to go. It is so cute. So she learned she could jump from the couch to the love sac. She was getting pretty high so I tried to get some pictures of her in the air, and I actually did.

Music

My good friend Amy did a post about her kids and some other kids they are friends with and I loved it. It brought tears to my eyes because these kids were singing a song that I taught them in primary and the Spirit is so strong when these kids sing! It made me think about Brielle and how much I love when she sings. She got a baby doll for her birthday that she has rarely played with. Well she received a cute set of things for her baby doll for Christmas from our good friends the Paynes including a little pack-n-play, a stroller, a bouncer and some other cute things. Well Brielle was putting her baby doll in the pack-n-play and I asked her if she wanted to sing a song to her baby doll. Without another thought she started singing I Am a Child of God to the doll. I almost started crying. It was the sweetest thing ever. I am so thankful for music and the role it can have in our lives. There is not much else that can bring tears to my eyes faster than children singing beautiful songs with their sweet voices. I am so thankful for my calling that I am able to hear children sing sweet primary songs each week. I am so lucky and I am so thankful for music!
